Poor customer service

I purchased a couch and chair back in May. The couch was delivered broken. Now we are sept still not fixed. The company I have been sent to keeps canceling their appts to come look at it and Ashley will not do anything further. Super frustrating. I will not make another purchase at Ashely Furniture again - this Shld have been made right after I was canceled on the second time.

Sectional went Wrong

I bought a 7 piece grey sectional from Ashley Furniture and was promised the chaise lounges would be on the left side looking at it. Of course, once it was delivered the chaise lounge is in the right side and blocks off my dining room. I called customer service numerous times, they said it was the reps fault in Fultondale AL location-she was new. So the manager reached out to me, said if I want to correct it, then it would be 20% of total cost plus delivery fee…really for your stores mess up?! Almost $1000 to correct something your rep placed in your system incorrectly.

Over a 10 year period I have purchased 3 mattress sets and 3 couches. That's A LOT of money. My most recent couch was delivered the beginning of December. I live alone. I do not use my couch often and I also take very good care of anything I own so it should not look like it does within a month or so of owning. I’ve contacted the store with a response being that

“Hi Sarah, I do apologize for the delay. I’ve been talking to the General Manager and service about this, and they said this is not a quality issue and the pilling is normal. The easiest way to quickly take care of this is with a fabric shaver, and it will look like new afterwards.
I’ve attached a link to an article on upholstery fabric pilling that has some suggestions.

I did not purchase a couch for over 1600 dollars to be told that. My last couch that is 4-5 years old actually looks better than my new couch. This is not normal. I would think such a large company would stand behind their products. If I wanted a cheap
worn down looking couch I would have bought a cheap one or a second hand one.

I just want the couch to be picked up and be refunded the cost so I can go purchase myself a couch that will actually look good for a much longer time compared to this one!

Junk- Will not honor warranty after 5 months

Junk! Warranties are useless. I bought a sectional from Ashley Furniture and within 5 months a piece of plywood inside of the ottoman snapped in half. This sounds like the exact situation a structural warranty would cover. But they won't cover it because it sounds "accidental." It's not their fault that they used cheap wood that cannot withstand having feet put on it or being sat on. With only 5 months of use! I would never recommend a company that cannot stand by their products and honor their warranties.

The worst store, products, and service

I purchased a $1,000 couch from Ashley Woodbridge, Va back in March 2022. The couch was damaged so we called them and they said we have to pay for parts and a tech to come out(another $150).
Their tech comes out literally 6months later and after he dissembles the couch he says they sold us a bad couch, it is a manufacturer defect.
So we call Ashley back and know they are not trying to rectify the issue knowing it's a defect. They want me to pay another delivery fee for them to swap out the couches

The warranty service is awful

I went shopping at Ashley store great service. Then less then 6 months later my mattress started to sink. They will not replace it. Nice at first then when a quality problem arise they say we cannot help you I will never shop there again. No one cares about my back the mattress is sinking more each day

Poor Customer Service

The rating for Ashley's customer service is a negative zero! I just spoke with a representative that was so rude and cutting me of through the entire conversation after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. Your experience maybe great if you never need to call in, but if you do be prepared to speak with someone that doesn't care about your issues. I hope that this review doesn't fall on deaf hears and your staff starts monitoring the incoming customer calls.

Never get a mattress here

I purchased a mattress and 1 yr in it was completely sagging and hurting my hips and lower back. I followed their warranty process starting in February and here it is at the end of July and 3 no show appointments later, so I writer into the CEO and get a response of they will give me credit for what I paid for the mattress towards another. Problem is they carry 10 choices, half low end and the other half high end. So basically if doomed either way. If I get a low budget I get what I pay for and have the same thing happen or I pay thousands out of my pocket. This has been a complete and utter disappointment. They even told me to dispute the credit card charge because they didn't want to deal with it. So Im out my money and a mattress. Never do business here again.

Delivery Dates are TOTALLY MADE UP by the Salesman

We ordered over $3,000 worth of living room furniture on 5/21/2022 after looking at several options with the salesman. One of our MAIN considerations was the length of time that we would have to wait for the actual delivery. We chose a specific sofa and dining table based upon the length of time we'd be without furniture.

The salesman told us that the (4) chairs were available and that the table and sofa would be delivered by mid-July (Just three weeks away), so we said that we could be patient for that. Well... Mid July has come and gone and now they are giving me an "estimated" delivery on the sofa for Mid-August and now the chairs will not be delivered until sometime AFTER that date!

These folks simply make the sale and then "kick the can " down the road to put you off as long as possible! From the reviews - these guys are masters at "bait and switch" with their great show rooms - but NO furniture actually available to the customer!

The girl on customer service (after two days of waiting for a call back) stayed with the company line, "It could be sooner or on that day, this is just an estimate." Yep --- kicking the can!

Poor quality and absolutely zero customer service

Absolutely zero customer service. Won't help to resolve any issues even with the extra warranty. Never buy their furniture.

New kitchen table came cracked. Chairs smell like formaldehyde and stunk up the entire house. We will be returning it all.
